The Genius Song FAQ: Short Answers, Grouped by Topic

The Genius Song is a daily headphone track, around 7 minutes long by the seller’s account, sold for $39 once through ClickBank with a 90-day refund. The presenter uses a pen name, the Terms call the products “for entertainment purposes only”, and no published study tests the track. Below, the questions are grouped by topic; the full list with fuller answers sits at the bottom of the page.

1. The product

Question	Short answer
What do I get?	One audio track plus digital bonuses
How long is it?	About 7 minutes, per the seller (we did not buy it)
How do I use it?	Headphones on, eyes closed, once a day
Missing a day?	The presenter says that is “okay”
App or game?	Neither
Who sells it?	Happy Consumer LLC, based in Puerto Rico, through ClickBank
Minimum age	18, per the Terms

What does the seller say it does?

The video claims modern life leaves adults with a “dormant” gamma brain wave and that the track can “activate gamma” through what it calls brain entrainment. It calls gamma “the super brain wave”. These are the seller’s words; we have not seen them tested on this track.

Why does the video talk about a 7-second trick?

The hook promises a “seven second brain trick”, but the thing for sale is a 7-minute track. The video never shows a separate 7-second method.

2. Price and buying

Question	Short answer
Price	$39, one payment
Crossed-out figures	$200, $100, $49: seller’s reference prices
Tax and currency	Added and converted at the ClickBank checkout
Order bump	None seen at checkout
Card statement	CLKBANK*Genius Song
Where sold	Only via the seller’s site, per the video

Will the price go up tomorrow?

The video warns the price “is not guaranteed beyond today” and also mentions a waiting list if it sells out. We saw no price change and read these as sales tactics. Details are on our price page.

Why does the link open a different product?

Our button opens the seller’s home page, which currently features the seller’s related audio, The Genius Wave. If you want The Genius Song itself, its presentation is found at the /video/ path on that same domain. The seller presents the two as different audios, so check that your checkout line names The Genius Song.

3. Delivery and access

Question	Short answer
Shipping	None; the checkout lists a digital product
When it arrives	The video says within minutes by email
Download or portal?	The seller describes both
File type	Not stated by the seller
Devices	Phone or computer, per the seller’s FAQ
Sharing	Not allowed; the Terms say single user, personal use

Download or portal: which is it?

The video talks about a track emailed to you that you save to your phone or computer. The order section of the text page instead speaks of a “Private Audio Portal” with on-demand access, login details sent by email and streaming on any device. Its own FAQ then goes back to downloading. We cannot tell you which you will receive. If nothing arrives, ClickBank can resend order details.

4. Refunds and support

You need to	Contact
A refund within 90 days	ClickBank, through clkbank.com or 1-800-390-6035
Help with the track or bonuses	The seller, at [email protected]
Fewer marketing emails	Unsubscribe link in any email
An unknown charge	Your card issuer

Which refund policy counts?

The Terms and the ClickBank checkout both give 90 days. A separate page at /TOS/refunds/ describes a 60-day, unopened-bottle policy for a product called NeuroActivate, with a return address in Ohio. It reads like leftover text. Use ClickBank’s route and keep the receipt. A ClickBank help article notes that most products allow 60 days; this one’s own documents say 90.

5. The presenter, the claims and the evidence

Question	Short answer
Is “Dr. Robert Lake” real?	The site’s disclaimer calls it a pen name
Are his credentials checked?	Not by us; they cannot be verified under a pen name
A study of this track?	None published
Gamma research in general	Real, but mostly mice and Alzheimer’s models for 40 Hz work
Binaural beats in general	Mixed. A 2019 meta-analysis reports a medium pooled effect (g = 0.45) across certain outcomes; a 2023 review saw no brainwave change in 8 of 14 studies
Seller’s customer counts	18,366 and 19,389; inconsistent and unverified
Seller’s star reviews	“Thousands of five star reviews” claimed; none we could check

What do the Terms say?

A section titled “For Entertainment Purposes Only” admits entrainment “is not an exact science”; the same section labels the products as entertainment. Elsewhere, the Terms insist brainwave claims are “substantiated by established scientific research” (their words). We report the two side by side.

Are the people in the video real buyers?

Read the Terms and the answer is: not necessarily. Names “have been changed”. Parts of the marketing are “dramatized”. Avatars or actors may voice the feedback. Some speakers may be linked to the founders, and some were paid. The FTC expects material connections like these to be disclosed clearly. We do not treat any of the stories as independent reviews. Our blog has a longer piece on what reviews exist if you want detail.

Did the presenter admit anything?

Yes, one honest line: about a casino win, he concedes there is “no evidence” the track “caused that”.

6. Safety

Situation	Our advice
Everyday listening	Volume low enough to talk over
Driving or machinery	Do not listen
Epilepsy or past seizures	Ask a doctor first
Hearing problems or ringing ears	Ask a doctor first
A health condition	It is not a treatment; keep your usual care

The World Health Organization’s safe-listening advice applies to any headphone use: keep volume moderate and give your ears breaks. Our editorial score for The Genius Song is 2.9 out of 5 (how we score); it is our view, not a customer rating.
