This category covers products sold for curiosity, reflection and personal growth rather than physical health. Examples include soulmate sketches and written readings, astrology and compatibility reports, guided self-help programs and audio tracks. Most are digital: you pay once, answer a few questions and receive a file or an email.
Why a health site covers them
Many of our readers come across these offers in the same ads and inboxes as supplements, and the questions are similar: what exactly do I get, is the company real, and can I get my money back? We answer those questions the same way we do for supplements, by reading the seller’s own pages and terms and reporting what they say and what they leave out.
What to check before you order
Start with the disclaimer, usually at the bottom of the sales page. It often says the product is for entertainment, or that sketches and readings are generated by software. That is useful to know before you pay, because it changes what the result can mean.
Next, compare the refund headline with the refund page itself. A banner may promise money back, while the detailed policy limits refunds to orders that were never delivered. Note who processes the payment, since that company may offer its own refund route and is the name you will see on your card statement.
Finally, look at what the order form asks for. Birth dates, full names and personal details are part of how these products work, so share only what you are comfortable sharing, and read the privacy policy.
A word on wellbeing
A reading or a sketch can be a fun prompt for thinking about what you want. It cannot tell you who you will meet or what will happen. If you are feeling lonely, low or anxious, talking to a friend, a counsellor or your doctor is a better first step than any purchase.
How our guides work
We read the seller’s pages, terms, disclaimers and refund policy before we write, and we do not take payment for coverage. Order buttons on our guides are affiliate links, and we say so on every page.
